Activities:

  • Health Facility Support:
    • Facilities: ZIPAD is currently supporting two health facilities in Ardamata and Durti. These facilities are equipped to provide comprehensive health and nutrition services.
    • Staffing: The facilities are staffed with trained healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and community health workers who deliver essential services.
  • Integrated Health Services:
    • Primary Healthcare: Offering primary healthcare services such as consultations, diagnosis, and treatment of common illnesses to improve overall community health.
    • Maternal and Child Health: Focused on maternal and child health services, including prenatal and postnatal care, immunizations, and growth monitoring to ensure healthy pregnancies and child development.
    • Nutrition Programs: Providing nutritional support such as supplementary feeding programs for malnourished children and pregnant women, nutrition education, and distribution of fortified foods to combat malnutrition.
  • Health Education and Promotion:
    • Community Awareness: Conducting health education sessions on hygiene, sanitation, disease prevention, and nutrition to empower communities with knowledge to maintain their health.
    • Outreach Programs: Implementing outreach programs to reach remote and underserved populations, ensuring that health services are accessible to all.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation:

Impact Assessment: Regularly monitoring and evaluating the health and nutrition interventions to assess their impact, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the effective use of resources.
