Community-Led/Driven Peace Building and Reconciliation

Support: Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) and Local Authority.

Child Protection Program

ZIPAD operates two open spaces and community centers dedicated to child protection, offering a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Education

Built 2 schools funded by Catholic Relief Services and UNAMID. Distributed over 6,400 books to 14 schools with UNAMID funding. Constructed 8 classrooms, a kitchen, and a store under Catholic Relief Services funding

Healthcare

Conducted 16 medical camps and outreach activities benefiting over 50,000 individuals. Increased access to life-saving health and nutrition interventions in Kereinik, Jabal Moon, and Sirba localities.

Initiatives

Provided vocational training to 80 women groups, benefiting more than 500 individuals.
Supported 300 small enterprises with funding from USAID Sudan office.

Water and Sanitation

Distributed water purification systems to households to eliminate waterborne diseases, funded by UNICEF.

Environmental Conservation

Planted 100,000 trees and established 20 community gardens.
